the secret lies in the quality and freshness of the ingredients. For eight generations, the traditional recipes and famous cake and pastry creations have been continually refined, with the result that Niederegger has gained an impressive reputation for confectionery even among connoisseurs.

In addition to our mouthwatering cake and pastry creations, we offer a delicious selection of savoury dishes and exquisite wines. We look forward to your visit!

In our original café directly opposite Lübeck’s historic Rathaus (town hall), you are not only welcome to try out the Niederegger cake specialities such as the famous Niederegger Nusstorte (nut cake), but also to learn about the history of marzipan in our Marzipan Museum.
